Jon's varied career included 20 years overseas in Bermuda and Canada, before he returned to the UK in 2013. He has served as Finance Director, non-executive director or trustee for a number of commercial organisations and charities, with particular interest in community, education and medical research causes. His most recent executive role was Chief Financial Officer at Worldwide Cancer Research, an Edinburgh-based charity which funds innovative cancer research all over the world.
Jon is Chair of the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD), and also serves as Chair for Sacro, a Scottish charity dedicated to supporting people and communities involved in the criminal justice system.
