Kristi obtained a degree in Pharmacology (Biomedical Sciences) from Newcastle University, during which she conducted research placements at GlaxoSmithKline and at the Pasteur Institute, Paris. She then moved to King’s College London to undertake her doctoral studies, funded by an MRC Doctoral Training Studentship and was awarded her PhD in Psychological Medicine.
She continued her research at King’s College London while holding a postdoctoral position, where she specialised in biological mental health research in the fields of perinatal psychiatry and adolescent mental health.
In her spare time, Kristi enjoys reading, travel, walking and musicals.
