Medical Research Foundation

The Medical Research Foundation is the Medical Research Council’s independent charity. Our aim is to improve human health through medical research. We fund more of the research that the MRC supports so well.

To do this, we use the funds given to us by you, the generous public, to award medical research grants (for people, running costs, equipment, skill-sharing and collaborations, and the dissemination of research results), fellowships and studentships, and provide accommodation to support researchers.

Many medical research charities do this. But we are unique.

All we do is support research.

We do not fund advocacy, campaigning, support services or advisory services;

just more research for human health.

Support medical research

A gift, whatever its size will make a real difference to the research that we can support in the future.
