Facilities and IT Support Officer

London | full-time | 12-month maternity cover

About the role

You will report to our Facilities and Operations Manager. The role will involve a variety of office facilities and IT support responsibilities, including:

  • managing day-to-day building and facilities matters, and liaising with building management and external suppliers to resolve faults and service requests.
  • acting as the primary contact for staff and visitors with IT-related matters, as well as our IT service provider, resolving common IT issues where possible.
  • maintaining the office environment, including facilities services, workspace set-ups, meeting rooms, and secure access management.
  • setting up new starters by coordinating with the IT service provider to provide laptops and accounts, and arranging the closure of accounts of leavers.
  • championing cyber security and health and safety best practice, and supporting environmental sustainability across our office and business operations.

What you will bring to the role

You will have experience of:

  • providing facilities and office management or IT support.
  • ensuring office health and safety requirements are fulfilled.

You'll have:

  • strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • good Microsoft 365 and general IT knowledge.
  • excellent communication and ability to maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • a proactive, customer-focused approach with great attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Workplace First Aid, Fire Safety, DSE Assessor certificates (or a willingness to undertake the training within the first three months).

You will be based in our London office Monday to Thursday with the likelihood of working from home most Fridays.
